A 2-Day State Level Workshop on Practical Aspects of Forensic Anthropology organised by National Forensic Sciences University, an institute of National Importance Under Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, Manipur Campus, Pangei on May 19-20, 2025 in collaboration with Department of Anthropology & IQAC, Kha Manipur College, Kakching, Manipur.
Forensic anthropology is a specialized field within anthropology that applies anthropological knowledge and methods to legal investigation particularly in cases involving human skeletal remains and unidentified human remains. It helps in identifying deceased individual determining the cause and manner of death and providing information that aids in solving crimes and establishing legal outcomes.
